"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory" - Dr. Seuss
Don't hide your memories in boxes. Dig out those favorite baby outfits and let me make them into a memory quilt you will cherish every day.
This quilt measures 36" x 45" with the front made up of the cutest parts of each baby outfit. I take great care to use all the memorable details that I can. The back is soft Minky fabric with a cotton batting inside, and then all layers are carefully quilted to create a soft, cuddly, memorable keepsake.
Embroidery (+ $10)
Consider adding special details like names, dates or messages to your keepsake quilt.
This quilt needs 25-30 baby sleepers or clothing items. Three month and larger sizes work best, but if you include a few newborn pieces I can work them in. Count on two premie or newborn pieces for one of a larger size.
I stabilize all fabrics with interfacing to control stretching and add durability. Suitable materials are cotton or cotton blends as in shirts or dresses. Knits such as t-shirts, sports jerseys. Pants, jackets, light sweaters, even a favorite blanket. I can use most anything except swimwear, leather, fur, bulky knits or super thick fabrics. The backing is made from soft Minky fabric with a cotton batting inside, and then all layers are carefully quilted to create a soft, cuddly, memorable keepsake.
